Swivel Side Table

This is my first made-to-measure piece, a side table with an extending table that slides out.
It is made from sustainably sourced solid European oak and given an oil finish.
The brief for this was simple, the client wanted the perfect place to pop his mug of coffee whilst sat on his chair and he’s very pleased with what I produced.
I kept the design fairly minimal as I wanted to focus on the function of the piece and let the beauty of the timber stand out with full-length side panels supporting the shelves.
Completed and delivered June 2020.
