This was another great opportunity to work for The Bath Priory on some decorative dishes for their restaurant. This time I had the pleasure of working directly with their head chef to produce 3 unique styles of displaying his food to diners. We liaised at every step of the process to make sure we created something special. The pictures show the three types of dishes I produced; slotted design in walnut, fluted/ carved design in walnut, and a trio of stacking oak boxes. Each dish required a different set of tools and processes, while some are mainly hand carved, the hexagonal boxes relied on repeatable accuracy.
