This isn’t my typical commission project but it was fun to test my skills at hand carving and working with irregular shapes like knife handles, where how it feels is just as important as how it looks. The process involves cutting the inside so the knife fits just right, then gluing it together and shaping outside while keeping everything symmetrical. Also adding decorative elements per the client’s request. All the sheaths are made from solid wood that’s finished/ stained to meet requirements.
